Countdown Together Privacy Policy

Countdown Together is made by Love, Cole LLC. We don’t collect, store, sell or share any of your personal information. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no third-party code, and it never sends your information to us.

Where your countdowns live

Your countdowns, notes, checklists, photos and scanned documents are kept on your devices and in your own iCloud account, which Apple runs under its own privacy policy. The text you write is stored encrypted in iCloud. Love, Cole can’t see any of it. Your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and widgets all read from the same place.

Sharing a countdown

When you share a countdown, anyone who has the invite link can join it, so send the link only to people you want in. Everyone who joins can see the countdown and its board, and can change them unless you make it view only. Notes you post show the name you type in. Notes marked Only me are never shared. You can stop sharing at any time.

Features that run on your device

Quick Add and sharing a page or text to the app are handled on your device using Apple’s built-in tools, including Apple Intelligence where it’s available. What you add is saved only to your board.

Drop Anything In (Pro)

When you use Drop Anything In with Countdown Together Pro, the text, photo or scan you drop in is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and on to Anthropic, whose Claude model reads it and returns the notes you see. Neither we nor Anthropic store what you send: it is read, answered and discarded, and under Anthropic’s commercial terms it is not used to train models. Our server keeps only a count of how many times each subscription uses the feature in a month, tied to the purchase, not to you. If you’re offline, or not using Pro, the reading happens on your device instead and nothing is sent.

From Calendar asks for access to your calendar so it can show your upcoming events and birthdays. Only the ones you pick are saved, and the app never changes your calendar. The camera is used only when you take a photo or scan a document.

Pictures made with Image Playground are created by Apple under Apple’s terms. The app turns off its use of people from your Photos library.

Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Purchases

Countdown Together Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your payment details.

Deleting your information

Deleting a countdown you started removes it, and its board, from iCloud for everyone in it. Deleting one someone else shared with you removes it from your devices and leaves theirs in place. To remove everything, delete the app, then delete its data in Settings › [your name] › iCloud.

Children

The app doesn’t collect information from anyone, including children.
